UPDATE: Well, i have been threatened by staff, and they have not replied so i am forced to not go on with this. I am sorry people. I might do it later if i feel like it and get a response from flameturret. Right now It is kinda hard though, sorry for the late update, I just got back from London and have been having some problems and busy times both in business and personally . There has been a lot of stuff going on with Jark, and a lot of people putting in their support. Now I know that I am not a huge member of the community, or a great artist, but I still see a lot in the community even if I hide in the shadows most of the time. I know what Jark does and how much he contributes to this community, so I would like to also support him, but I want to go beyond making a journal about him and promoting Yellow Day and making a Yellow Deviation. I have hatched an idea. I want to have a March For Jark! Here is how this will work. Many people who want to support jark will all make a pixel version of themselves. I will get as many people as I can to participate, so if you would spread the word that would be greatly appreciated. We will get many pixel people, then when we are done I shall line them all up and make a deviation of one animated GIF of all the pixel people marching, and It will have a banner at the top that says "We Love Jark!" I will gather all the pixel people and stitch them all together in a big GIF and release it on August 7th. In my deviations I have an example of a pixel person to make. Please help me with this campaign, and spread the word!

If you want to join in this, here are some requirements:
Your pixel person should be no larger than 30 x 75. I want the height to remain at ~75 for lining up purposes, but the width can vary, nothing too large please.
Your entries should be sent to me in a note, you can post them as a deviation and send me a link. I would like to end up with 3 JPEG images of your pixel person, one of them standing still, one with the left leg up, and one with the right leg up. I will use these frames to simulate a marching animation.
I would appreciate it if you could get your entries in before August 6th so i will have time to patch them together by August 7th.
I suggest you have your pixel person resemble yourself at least a little bit.
Update: REMINDER! I would like your submission to be in a .jpeg format, with a plain white background, and three individual frames. Please no .gif formats and you don't have to animate them, it will be easier for me if i just have the three frames. remember, 3 seperate frames! Thank you for helping me!

Have fun, be creative! Accessorize! You can even give your pixel character a little jark plushie! Please join me in this March For Jark and help spread the word!

edit: I have gotten amazingly positive response to this, but not that much response. Please people, help me by telling your friends about the march for jark and reposting it in your journal maybe. Also, it doesn't matter if you don't have much artistic talent or cant do pixelart very well. It is supporting jark that matters people. As long as you have photoshop or gimp or even Microsoft Paint you can make a pixel person of yourself!

edit: Well people, i have recently been threatened by flameturret to not post this, or the participants will be banned and the deviation removed. Although he has yet to prove i am actually overstepping boundaries(the one about icon mosaics does not apply to me), he is still staff and as long as he threatens me i cannot post anything. Keep on sending in entrys though, preferrably by note, and i will still host the march for jark offsite.
